This is the Asemic Codex Generator, a tool designed to turn language into an unreadable, illuminated artifact. It was built as a weaponized obsession with texts like the Codex Seraphinianus and the Voynich Manuscript.
By procedurally generating an alien writing system—complete with a fictive grammar, ligatures, and a variable-width calligraphic brush engine—it translates your poems into an untranslatable, color-coded script.
Created by fuckshitpoet, this project exists for poets who want to write real poems and watch them become beautifully obscured, aged relics. I have a deep, personal obsession with medieval-era history, and I absolutely love the concept of making my own calligraphy and artistry.
The entire visual style of this generator's writing system was heavily inspired by and modeled after my own personal handwritten calligraphy and artistic works.
It is a space where sadness and whimsy collide into something entirely new, hidden in plain sight.
